Palate Impressions
Classic Stags Leap Cabernet with a Mike Smith punch! Deep, dark, and complex, a floral nose entices you with rose petal, sage, violet, cassis, clove, and finishes with the volume set to eleven. The dense richness is balanced perfectly with natural fruit acidity which completes this fantastic wine.
Myriad Context
History runs deep with the Stags Leap Steltzner Vineyard. Tucked just below the Stags Leap Palisades you will find a beautiful 30-acre estate. Jim Barbour Vineyard Management is at the helm tending to seven separate blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon and less than an acre each of Sangiovese, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Stags Leap District is known for its distinctive confluence of soil, temperature, and geography, found nowhere else in the world. The Myriad ‘Corner Block’ was hand selected by Allison Steltzner herself, to showcase Mike’s new world winemaking style in the classic world of the Stags Leap District. We are completely honored to work with this family and their remarkable Napa Valley estate.
