The Beckstoffer Las Amigas Vineyard, located in the Carneros, consists of 480 acres and is planted to Chardonnay, Merlot, and Pinot Noir. Considered a heritage vineyard, in 2007 58 acres were placed under a land conservation easement, which forever bans non-agricultural development. Our Myriad Beckstoffer Las Amigas Merlot  is loaded with dark brooding fruit,  blueberry liquor and an unmistakable big Merlot grape flavor that is terroir driven.    The deep Carneros soils and breezy days make this site sing of bold  Napa Valley Merlot with powerful punch.  Explosive and multi faceted mid palate, followed by a long and wanting finish. Fantastically balanced with layers and layers of silk flowing across the palate. A year in bottle will allow all the components to come together, what a beauty. A very welcome addition to Myriad.

A combination of six pedigreed Napa Valley vineyards, the ‘Myriad Napa’ is hitting all cylinders.  The peak performance of these separate prominent Napa Valley AVA’s marry together gorgeously producing a striking and pure Cabernet Sauvignon. Red and blue fruits combine with an upfront and bold entry that is round and plush. Traditional Rutherford dust tannins fill the mid palate with hints cocoa powder, marionberry and detailed clove spice characters. Rich layers of dark chocolate followed by slight forest floor notes glide into a beautiful long and lingering finish.  Enjoy this early drinker over the next 1-6 years, while waiting for the single vineyard Cabernets to hit their stride.

The  Myriad Cellars "Elle"  Cabernet from the Lewelling Ranch Vineyard  is loaded with red fruit, bing cherry liquor and an unmistakable up-valley grip that is terroir driven.   We named this wine  'Elle'  as a nod to Leah, as she was the reason we were invited into this incredible vineyard site.  The deep red clay bench-land soils derived from hundreds of years of natural erosion make this site sing of classic Napa Valley Cabernet with powerful punch.  Explosive and multi faceted mid palate, followed by a long and wanting finish. With a magical, full-bodied texture that carries lots of tannins and mid-palate depth, it just glides over the palate with no sensation of weight or heaviness, flawless balance, and a great finish. FINAL VINTAGE OF THE MYRIAD ROSE' OF PINOT NOIR

From the Sangiacomo Tallgrass Pinot Noir Vineyard, harvested as "Rose'  - On Purpose" at 21.6 brix - The Myriad Cellars Rose' shows off an illuminous salmon hue and heady perfume of sweet jasmine and peach blossoms. The palate is focused with notes of sweet strawberry and red fruits & laced with light citrus, white flowers, essence of guava and poached pear. The finish is fresh, honey-crisp and mouthwatering  wild strawberry, clover and light clementine.  A perfect summer sipper, and might we add, delicious served extra cold.   As the labels for this wine were created by photographs of Lake Tahoe by Leah Smith,  Myriad  proudly supports  "Keep Tahoe Blue"  with a donation from each bottle sold to www.keeptahoeblue.org.

Our newest white for the Myriad Portfolio....The Myriad Sangiacomo Wente Clone Chardonnay is full of glistening golden straw hues are matched with inviting aromas of peach blossom and crushed pineapple.  An absolutely charming density of richness and character combine with natural acidity and sophisticated minerality. The historic Wente clone showcases the density, layers and richness this wine is known for. The mid palate is loaded with lemon zest, clementine and chalky minerality. The flowing yet lush finish is stunning, showcasing rich undertones and structure from the vine age. Premium French Oak aging and no malo-lactic fermentation makes our favorite more clean and crisp style of California Chardonnay.

The Beckstoffer Melrose vineyard is located in the heart of Rutherford, surrounding Andy and Betty Beckstoffer's personal home. Consisting of  47% Old Vine Sauvignon Blanc & 53% Semillon, Light blonde and beautiful, this wine is citrus fruit-driven with lifted notes of lemon zest, clementine, crushed oyster shells and flinty starfruit. The natural chalky white Bordeaux like minerality  'coat your mouth’ texture in this wine is undeniable.   Incredible mid-palate depth with a crystalline mouthfeel, slight match stick reduction and  co-mingling the grape varieties, transcend into the sensory hallmarks of a white Bordeaux style. This is coupled with a richness of premium new French oak, layers and depth of flavor with an explosion of fresh fruit & minerals. Outstanding! ~ Mike Smith

THE JEMROSE VINEYARD

Set in the hilly area at the southern end of Bennett Valley, at an elevation of 623 feet, the soils are a good mix of Los Robles gravelly clay loam and volcanic black glass. Several premiere syrahs have been produced from the Jemrose Vineyard. 

Wonderfully brisk nights and gentle warm days are ideal for premium wine grape growing. These vines are framed by steep hills allowing the cooling night breezes to sweep coastal fog in on most nights that give way quickly each morning to brilliant sunshine.

WINE

Dense, with pretty violet and herbal aromatics. It's a sexy Syrah with a good sense of freshness and outstanding length. Smoky olive, red fruit, and spiced meats. Modestly soft tannins and delicate  minerality.  This wine has excellent balance driven by the cool site and well drained soils. Like most of the Syrahs we make this wine will evolve over the years building ever changing layers of flavors and aromas. Vibrant, fresh, balanced and elegant! Drink now but don’t be afraid to hold for the coming years. It will be worth it.  93 POINTS/ JD

A newer addition to Myriad and our first Syrah from Bennet Valley. This inky colored beauty is darker and more cab-like than our other Syrahs in the portfolio and gives up lots of black blackberry, scorched earth and black pepper.  Waves of big California Syrah fruit with slight notes of violets and floral nuances. Lush, big with a silky mid-palate and pure fruit driven; A true Syrah/ Cab lover’s dream.  93 Points/ JD

Deep ruby color, almost translucent to the edge.  The outstanding nose has blackberries, black olives, charred meat, roasted herbs, white pepper, with some nutmeg and
earthiness. Framed by fairly solid tannins and lively acidity, the mid palate shines with black cherry, savory notes, adding a nice sweet leather element the tail end. The 100% whole cluster element adds a beautiful mid palate lift and peppercorn spice to the core of this wine, giving it a little more verve. The long & highlighted finish is loaded with the hallmark black olive tapenade this vineyard is famous for. Cool climate Syrah at its finest. 95 POINTS/ JD

The 2022 Myriad Bennett Valley Sonoma Coast Syrah leads with a medium plus color and a flavor profile featuring pomegranates, ground herbs, plum and savory notes. Stylistic cool climate loamy earth and spring flowers add nice balance and mid palate lift to the wine.  A blend of three Sonoma Coast Vineyards for a great value wine. 93 POINTS/ JD
