The vineyard has the excellent drainage and abundant sun exposure needed to produce wines of extraordinary body and complexity. The 337 clone of Cabernet Sauvignon thrives in this environment!   In 2009 181 acres were placed under a land conservation easement that forever prohibits non-agricultural development.
