Very young and unevolved, yet still showing fantastic potential with a solid mix of richness and elegance, the 2011 Myriad Cellars Syrah Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard is 100% Syrah that was aged in 50% new French oak.  Gorgeously perfumed, with copious pepper, blackberry, wet stone-like minerality, olive, and smoked meat, it flows onto the palate with a rich, serious feel.

Concentrated, balanced, and structured, with layers of grippy tannin emerging on the finish, this knockout 2011 will benefit from short term cellaring, and have upwards of a decade or more of prime drinking.
